ROACHDALE – Mrs. Doris T. Pitcock, 60, of Roachdale, died Sunday in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. Mrs. Pitcock was a member of Russellville Christian Church and Roachdale OES. She was born July 18, 1916, in Edgar County, Ill., to James W. and Emma Turner Perry. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James A. (Esther) Evans of Rt. 3, Greencastle; two sons, Ronald A. of Greencastle and Kenneth R. of Roachdale; two sisters, Louise Conover of Crispin, Ill., and Edith Beachy of Akron. Ohio; three brothers, Byron Perry of South Bend, Harry Perry of Waterman, Ill. and Lee Perry of Rockville; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Pitcock, a sister, and a grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. --– jlr
